The Department of Civil Engineering and Sustainable Construction (GCCD) at IUT1 has formed a new partnership with the EOS Group, a Grenoble-based company recognized for its expertise in the fields of construction, renovation, and energy transition, through the signing of a sponsorship agreement.
The official signing ceremony took place at IUT1, attended by Gaëlle Constantin, Head of Human Resources for the EOS Group; Jean-Luc Reboud, Director of IUT1; and the GCCD department team, represented by Laurent Oxarango, Head of the GCCD Department, and Julien Baroth, Deputy Head of the GCCD Department.

A three-year partnership aimed at helping students develop professional skills

This three-year agreement aims to strengthen ties between the professional world and higher education. The EOS Group will support the GCCD student cohort throughout their academic journey by sharing its practical experience and participating in various educational initiatives and events.

The partnership includes, in particular:

  • presentations and meetings focused on careers in the construction industry,
  • the prioritized posting of internship and job openings,
  • the participation of company ambassadors, including former students from the department,
  • and financial support through the apprenticeship tax.
