Focused on innovation and technological development in Electrical engineering, electronics, automation, and roboticsThe BUT Electrical, Computer, and Industrial BUT is a three-year program that prepares students to become the leaders of tomorrow.
It imparts knowledge and helps develop the skills needed to work in the fields of cities and industry of the future, energy production and transmission, telecommunications, healthcare, aerospace, transportation, smart and connected networks, audiovisual, renewable energy, etc.
The BUT is a versatile degree program that trains students to become senior technicians and mid-level managers in various fields, such as: Electrical installation technician, maintenance technician, electronics technician, electrical engineer, automation engineer, quality control and testing technician, manufacturing team leader, design engineers, and designers of electrical and electronic products.
The courses
Three tracks are offered starting in the second year:
Track AII: Automation and Industrial Computing
EME Track: Electricity and Energy Management
ESE Track: Electronics and Embedded Systems
The 3rd Anniversary of the BUT
BUT year
Core curriculum for all students in the fields of electrical power, electronics, automation, and industrial computing.
Examples of projects completed in the first year: electrical cabinet, line-following robot design, home automation project
In-depth study of specialized topics within the chosen track.
This program is open to work-study students starting in the second year.
Professional degrees
The GEII department also offers two professional bachelor's degree programs in "Electrical and Energy Engineering," as well as several professional bachelor's degree programs available exclusively through the recognition of prior learning (VAE) process. > Learn more
