Our institute, "IUT1 de Grenoble," which is part of "Université Grenoble Alpes," offers three-year bachelor's degree programs ("BUT": Bachelor Universitaire de Technologie) in eight departments (specializations): We look forward to welcoming students to these programs. We also welcome students to our departments for semester-long projects.

Appointments and Applications at IUT1

Nomination deadlines:
  • For the fall semester (September–December/January) or the full academic year (September–June/July): April 30
  • For the spring semester (January/February – June/July): September 30
Your International Office must complete an online nomination form: https://international-nominations.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr.
Application deadlines:
  • For the fall semester (September–December/January) or the full academic year (September–June/July): May 30
  • For the spring semester (January/February – June/July): October 18
The IUT1 International Office will send the application instructions to all nominated students after the nomination deadline. If you have not received them, please contact us as soon as possible (iut1.international@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr).

IMPORTANT: If a student wishes to be nominated by our Institute, he or she will not be permitted to select courses from another school or faculty within our university; he or she must select courses exclusively from our Institute.

Our Institute is responsible only for applications to our Institute ("IUT1 de Grenoble"), some of our partner universities may have an agreement with one or more other schools or faculties at our university ("Université Grenoble Alpes"), so procedures and deadlines may vary slightly.
