In the Department of Physical Measurements at Grenoble, the program focuses on developing a thorough understanding of physical principles and acquiring the skills needed to design, use, and operate measurement devices. The Grenoble campus provides access to modern experimental facilities (CIME, scanning electron microscope, etc.) and also enables students to undertake internships and highly technical projects. The technology-driven pedagogical approach fosters active learning, guiding students toward autonomy and practical expertise in the professional world.
Each year, the Department of Physical Measurements admits BUT students BUT who hold a scientific baccalaureate (with a specialization in Physics/Chemistry and/or Engineering Sciences, a specialization in Mathematics, or the Advanced Mathematics track) or a technological baccalaureate (STL – STI2D).
Training
The department awards the BUT degree in Physical BUT , with a concentration in Instrumentation Technology (TI) and a concentration in Materials and Physical-Chemical Testing (MCPC). Learn more
