Students may be accepted at partner universities abroad for a study abroad for one semester or one year, as part of their Bachelor’s degree program, but also potentially the BUT2. They are enrolled in the IUT1 program, in BUT, and some students who will be spending a year in the BUT3 program may also enroll in the L3 program atUniversité Grenoble Alpes UGA). This should be discussed with the International Relations Coordinator of the relevant department as soon as possible. BUT possible to continue studies abroad for one year after completing the BUT through the DUETI program.
Students can also go on Internship abroad as part of BUT the Master's degree program.
All information is provided during the Annual Conference on "Study Abroad (Internships/Academic Programs)""organized by the International Relations Office (RI) at IUT1 in mid-October, and all IUT1 students are invited to attend."
Students at IUT1 can also attend the events organized by the Deputy Directorate General for International Relations (DGD RI) from the UGA, most of which take place between September and October (workshops, lectures, etc.). This helps students be even better prepared. All information regarding study abroad programs is also available on the LEO student intranet (Presentation slides, guides, etc.).
Students must discuss their projects with the International Relations Coordinators in their respective departments as soon as possible at the start of the academic year and, if necessary, with the International Relations Office (RI) at IUT1.

Funding administered by the UGA (BRMIE, Erasmus+, AMI)

Students at IUT1 can apply to UGA for funding for an internship and/or a study abroad program.
This will involve completing a single online form:
For an internship: no later than 3 weeks before the start of the internship.
For study abroad programs: in April/May (for a start in the first semester or for the full academic year) or in October for certain late applications (for a start in thesecond semester only).
The Funding applications are then reviewed by the Scholarships Office of the UGA’s DGD RI, which may or may not award funding based on the eligibility criteria specific to the available funding programs (BRMIE, Erasmus+, AMI).
All information is available on the LEO student intranet (link to the online application form, deadlines, etc.) and/or will be sent to you by email from the IUT1 International Relations Office.
If approved, these grants are paid after the start of the stay and do not cover all mobility-related expenses; therefore, it is important to budget for mobility costs in advance WITHOUT taking these grants into account. The amounts and eligibility requirements may also vary from year to year.
