The GEII department maintains close ties with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), large corporations, and engineering firms. These relationships take various forms.
Company visits
Company visits are organized for first-year BUT students to give them the opportunity to explore an industrial sector and envision their future career paths (internships, work-study programs, and jobs).
Mock interviews
ITU1 organizes mock interviews with professionals to help students prepare for their search for internships or work-study programs.
Work-study contracts
Starting in their second year, students can enroll in a work-study program. Each year, more than 100 apprenticeship and professional training contracts are signed.
Corporate Conferences
The department welcomes industry professionals who contribute to our programs by, for example, giving lectures to our students.
Business Forum
Every year, the IUT1 Business Forum brings together more than 50 companies that come to meet students on the IUT1 campus and offer job opportunities, work-study programs, or internships.
Apprenticeship Tax
Every company that pays its apprenticeship tax helps train its future employees.
