Science Festival 2025 at IUT1: A Celebration of Sharing and Discovery
October 21, 2025
On October 9 and 10, IUT1 celebrated Science Day across its three campuses with a wonderful sense of community! Nearly 700 middle and high school students explored 11 themed stations led by more than 80 students and faculty members from the GEII, MP, and MT2E departments. On the agenda: experiments, demonstrations, and hands-on activities focused on everyday physics, the energy transition, robotics, and more!

Thematic tours
On the Polygone website, students from the Department of Physical Measurements have created six interactive tours inviting visitors to explore:
The science that surrounds us and the invisible science,
The energy sources of tomorrow and the challenges they present,
Pollution and the greenhouse effect,
Heat and matter phenomena.
At Gambetta, students from the Department of Energy Transition and Efficiency (MT2E) introduced attendees to:
Energy in everyday life,
Transfers and materials,
Hydrogen and its role in the energy transition.
Finally, on campus, students from the Department of Electrical and Industrial Computer Engineering (GEII) immersed the audience in the world of future technologies with:
Automation, embedded systems… what about you?,
Energy & Cobotics: The future is in your hands!
Each tour, designed and led by the students, was intended to make science accessible and engaging, while highlighting the programs offered at IUT1.
Congratulations to everyone who helped make the 2025 edition a success!
