Fluff Event: Over €100,000 Raised in the RT Department

From April 24 to 26, 2026, the Networks & Telecommunications (RT) Department at IUT1 in Grenoble hosted the Fluff Event, a charity event organized to benefit the Petits Princes association, which makes the dreams of seriously ill children come true.
Thanks to the efforts of the organizers, participants, and partners, More than €100,000 was raised over the weekend.
The event's technical success was made possible by thethe RT department's digital expertise and on the skills developed in its training programs:
Networks,
cybersecurity,
telecommunications,
cloud infrastructure,
fiber,
4G/5G,
satellite transmissions...
All of these areas are central to BUT and Telecommunications, a vocational training which prepares students for bothjob placement than at the further education.
The Fluff Event is an annual charity event held on Twitch. Over the course of an entire weekend, numerous content creators take turns participating in a video game streaming marathon to support a charity.
