Exhibition
April 2, 2026Grenoble - Presqu'île
The exhibition “Regards croisés” features a selection of works created by students in the Multimedia and Internet (MMI) department at IUT1 Grenoble. This exhibition highlights the diversity of approaches in visual communication, graphic design, and audiovisual production.
Graphic Design: Conveying a Message Through Images
The first section of the exhibition explores the areas of graphic design covered in BUT . Here, students develop a rigorous creative approach, responding to specific project briefs and addressing concrete communication challenges.
From concept to completion, they draw on their expertise in vector graphics, photo manipulation, layout, typography, color, and UX to create visually striking and meaningful designs.
First-Year Projects (SAÉ): Experiment and Create
One section is dedicated to first-year projects completed in the SAÉ program. Starting with a given keyword (“vestige,” “escape,” “balance”), each student develops a personal artistic vision and a coherent visual world.
These A3 posters, which combine visual arts and digital design (Photoshop), showcase the richness of the experiments and the diversity of interpretations.
Photography: Developing an Authorial Vision
The exhibition also features photographs from personal projects. They demonstrate a mastery of audiovisual techniques such as composition, lighting, blur, depth of field, and color theory.
With no thematic constraints, these images reveal the students’ visual curiosity and their ability to develop a distinctive artistic vision—a skill essential in creative professions.
