"La Ruche Halimi" Program: CROUS Housing for Prospective First-Year BUT Students

Students admitted to the first year of BUT IUT1 or IUT2 in Grenoble may apply for the “La Ruche Halimi” program, which provides access to student housing at the Gisèle Halimi university residence, located in downtown Grenoble.
Exclusively for students entering the first year of BUT, this program aims to promote equal opportunity and facilitate access to higher education through:
housing near the school,
workspaces and communal living areas,
opportunities for discussion and support offered by BUT student ambassadors.
A committee will allocate 26 housing units in early July, giving priority to:
To students receiving scholarships,
to students who live far from Grenoble,
to female students pursuing studies in the sciences.
Standard CROUS housing applications must also be submitted at the same time.
Important: IUT1 does not handle applications, housing assignments, or the processing of applications. For any questions regarding the program, housing, or administrative procedures, students should contact CROUS Grenoble Alpes directly.
