Two days of discussions on the work-study program for BUT

October 2, 2025 – October 16, 2025
On October 2 and 16, the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering (GMP) at IUT1 Grenoble organized two days of discussions focused on work-study programs. Students, faculty, and partner companies came together to share their experiences and work together to improve the organization of this training program.

The goal:

  • better understand everyone's expectations —work-study students, company mentors, teachers,
  • adapt practices so that training remains in step with the needs of the professional world.
These meetings provided an opportunity to discuss in practical terms student support, the schedule for work placements and classes at the IUT, as well as the skills targeted by the BUT program.
These fruitful and constructive discussions strengthened the ties between the training program and the company and laid the groundwork for a lasting partnership.
