Spring of Projects: Educational Innovation in Action at IUT1
May 22, 2025
State-of-the-art teaching materials, interactive demonstrations, and tours of innovative facilities: in May, IUT1 hosted the first edition of “Printemps des projets,” an event designed to highlight the tangible benefits of investments made through various projects led by academic departments and their technology platforms.
Through various booths and activities, staff members were able to learn about:
Powerful servers that allow students to work simultaneously on virtual machines as part of the Cyberskills project, using real-world cybersecurity applications.
A behind-the-scenes look at a high-traffic website—such as an e-shop during Black Friday—presented as part of the Cloud project. This illustrates the importance of proper server sizing to ensure educational continuity.
A fun, hands-on science activity focused on hydrogen, offered as part of the AMHY project, complete with an educational kit and support from a dedicated team of teachers.
Guided tours of the Smart Building and MT2E classrooms, which were renovated as part of the CMQ project, showcasing the evolution of teaching spaces.
Demonstrations open to everyone—such as lighting up an LED—as part of the FAME project, led by the participating students and teachers.
This inaugural edition of "Printemps des projets" reflects IUT1's commitment to continuously enhancing the quality of its programs through practical, innovative tools tailored to the challenges of today and tomorrow.
