April 3, 2026
On April 1, IUT1 welcomed about sixty middle school students as part of the AFEV initiative and its DémoCampus program, which is designed to introduce students to university life and broaden their career horizons.
Accompanied by “student ambassadors,” the middle school students toured several iconic locations on campus before arriving at IUT1 late in the morning. The purpose of this visit was to give them a hands-on look at university life by opening the doors to various teaching and learning spaces.

Three departments are involved

Upon arrival, the students were divided into three groups for an approximately one-hour tour of the IUT1 campus. Three departments came together to showcase their facilities and activities: Teachers and staff showed the middle school students the learning spaces, the technical facilities, and what daily life is like for students, to give them a clearer picture of how higher education works.
