A reform that opens up new opportunities

Until now, entry into teaching and education professions required at least a four-year college degree. With this reform, Holders of a BUT Bachelor of Technology) will be able to directly enroll in a MEEF (Teaching, Education, and Training Professions) master’s program by taking the relevant exams:

• Elementary school teacher
• Middle school or high school teacher (secondary education)
• Senior Educational Advisor (CPE)

The two-year master's program will focus on professional training, including internships at educational institutions, periods of hands-on experience, and in-depth study of the subject matter.

Paid training starting at the master's level

Another major advantage is that students admitted to the master's program will paid during their training :

• approximately €1,400 net per month in the first year,
• approximately €1,800 net per month in the second year.

Upon completion of the master’s program, they will be granted tenured status, receive a net monthly salary of at least €2,100, and commit to working for at least four years.

An opportunity for IUT1 students

This reform represents a real opportunity for students enrolled in BUT IUT1. They will be able to pursue a career in teaching or education without having to wait until they complete a master’s degree, while benefiting from a vocational training program that also provides a stipend.
