Work-Study Programs: Hire the ideal candidate and take advantage of extended hiring incentives

Are you looking to hire a work-study student (under an apprenticeship or vocational training contract) while ensuring your financial security? Learn about the government’s Special Hiring Incentive, extended through the end of December 2023!
The government is introducing a special incentive for all companies to hire work-study students, providing a grant of 6,000 euros for the hiring of a young person over the age of 18.
Thanks to this measure, the cost of hiring a work-study employee represents a minimal out-of-pocket expense—or virtually none at all—during the first year of the contract.
  • Does your company have fewer than 250 employees? The bonus will be paid to you unconditionally.
  • Does your company have more than 250 employees? You will be eligible for the bonus provided you meet your target of having 5% of your workforce on contracts designed to promote employment integration and work-study programs.
